Welcome to the administrative page for the Wiggins Police Department.  Below you will find information and various services offered.

Remember, reports will not be made available until they have been completed, approved by supervision, and processed. This process normally takes 5 business days from the time of the initial report, but it can take longer. If a case is in an active investigation status, the report may not be available until that investigation is complete. The Wiggins Police Department Records are available for pick up at the Wiggins Town Hall located at 304 E Central Avenue.  We ask that you allow at least 7 days for the reports to be ready.  You will receive a phone call or email when your record is available.  You will need to go to the Wiggins Town Hall to pick up the report, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.  If you are unable to go to the Wiggins Town Hall, please let the officer know ahead of time so that other arrangements may be made.

 You will need the following items to submit and pick up a report:

1. Case Number or Call For Service Number (if applicable or if known)
2. You must fill out a records request form
3. You will need proper identification

RECORD REQUEST

We ask that you allow at least 7 days for the reports to be ready.  Please fill out the records request through the link above and you will need to go to the Wiggins Police Department at Town Hall to pick up the report, between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

VIN VERIFICATION

VIN Verifications are conducted at the Town Hall (if the vehicle can be legally driven) or at the residence, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm only.  VIN Verifications are based on availability of the officer; in-progress calls will take precedence.

Cost:

Wiggins Residents: $15.00

Non-Wiggins Residents: $25.00

SECURITY CHECK

If you are planning on going on vacation or will be away from your residence for a short period of time, you can fill out our security check request form above and we will make periodic checks on your residence.  Feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about this free service.

ONLINE ACCIDENT REPORTING

If you need to report an accident that you did not call law enforcement about ,or if you are informed that you need to do a counter report, please go to the Online report system. This will redirect you to the appropriate Colorado State Patrol reporting system.
